Doe Mountain Forestry Project United States (Johnson County, TN)
The Doe Mountain Improved Forest Management Project protects a 3,500-hectare stretch of mixed hardwood forest in northeastern Tennessee. The area is managed through natural forest growth and non-commercial maintenance harvests aimed at promoting forest health and supporting carbon sequestration. The Doe Mountain Project is verified by the American Carbon Registry and is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 38,000 metric tons of CO₂ per year.
* The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. finances emission reduction projects to offset the CO₂ emissions generated by deliveries from our Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle fulfillment center in France to consumers' shipping addresses (excluding in-store Click & Collect and same-day delivery).
